I HAVE A 65H93 AND WANT TO BUY A COLOR WHEEL!

Yes,tvs with a colors wheels design into it are more prone to brake down and more quickly than tvs without colors wheels design into it.The colors wheel in the tv spins at 12000 RPM at every cycles to make and let the tv Light Engine shine a beam of light into a colors wheel to make and have a colors spectrums to make it to works for the tv.No projection tv with a colors wheel are not easily to be replaced have go through alot of trouble to replace a colors wheel itself.The tv colors sit way back of the tv have to take out many tv mechanical tv frames bulk heads even than can come to the tv colors wheel itself to replace it.Take ur $500 buck buy a "40 LCD tv less worry less head aches.

Possible there is a damage due to the power outage as there can be problems in the main power supply- SMPS- or if this seems intact as the clicking noise shows then some OUTPUT DRIVERS can be short. A good check on the main board is important as a fried board can only be replaced.

That symptom would be most often caused by the color wheel. Color wheels normally run between 150 and $200.

Same here! Just happened yesterday after we had a power outage in the neighborhood and when the power to the neighborhood was restored my 65H93 would not power on with the remote or the power button on the front of the TV. I get the same clicking sound when unplugging and or pushing the reset on the front of the TV. I also see a red light come on inside for about a half a second after hitting reset or unplug/replugging it in. I'm thinking it has something to do with the standby circuit not coming on due to some problem with the power supply/circuit board?

Have you found out anything yet? I'll let you know if I find out anything also.

Changing the color wheel is very simple. You should have no problem with it. here is a video to help you know what to look for. TV's very a little, but still easy.

Sorry, the color wheel is only available in the Light Engine Assembly. You can not purchase it as a single part. You will have to purchase the engine and replace it to repair your TV. PN: 23405476 it runs about $450 with a $200 core. You may find it cheaper... I don't think it is readily available... Best of luck to you, I hope this was helpful.
