My canon ip4300 is stating error B200 and flashing amber and green light at front. I cannot get to the printhead as it is stuck to the right hand side.

    Hello Techotip,
I have tried your suggestion and still no joy!
The printer head refuses to budge, I am baffled as I have used it 8 times in two years!

My Canon PIXMA iP4600 keeps reporting a B200 error. Turning it on and off has not helped yet. What else can I try?

I am sorry to say that you will need a new printhead and main logic board to solve this error. What has probably happened is the printhead has shorted the logic board. So unfortunately you MUST replace both together. I think this may be rather expensive.

Sorry.

I get an error code 6A00 and both lights are flashing on my Canon Pixma ip4300 printer

6A00 means the purge assembly on the right where the printhead parks, is stuck or jammed. Look to the right with a flashlight when the printhead is out of the way and look for paper scraps, or anything that doesn't belong.

Canon IP4300 flashes orange and green

Try keeping the paper only in the bottom tray (there's a tray in the bottom) Try pulling any paper out of the top and just close that top tray. Open up the head so that u can see the ink cartridges and turn the printer on and off and maybe it will center itself again. If it's still not working (even if lights aren't red and print head wont align in the center) try manually moving the head back and forth like 18 times so you can lubricate that rail in the back that's holding it. After that, re-turn it off and on again.

Canon ip4300 service error b200 green and orange light keep flashing ink toner won`t move

Try this:

Pull the power cord out of the back of the printer.

Then move the printhead to the center and pull out the ink and the printhead. Clean the printhead and examine the bottom for burned areas.

With the printhead still out, close the cover and plug the power in and turn the power on. If your printer isn't damaged, it should go through all diagnostics and give you a solic green light. This means you probably need a new printhead.
