HOW CAN DO PHONE CALIBRATION? - Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Smartphone

Do another reset. That one did not work.

My Motorola Ex128, I clicked restore default option in settings. it has restarted the phone and stucked at the pen calibration screen. please can any get me out of this problem?

its simple just go to Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Calibration

you'l be asked to tap on screen until the calibration settings are done.

Go to Menu>Settings>Phone>Calibration

Note: it doesn't always calibrate on the first touch on each point. It might take you many tries to get it to move to the next point.

It is best to do this operation with a Q-tip, which resembles a finger to the Eternity's software more than a sharp point, but is also more accurate than a finger.

To test the calibration, dial *#0*# and press "9"

If this did not fix your problem, or you think you have a hardware issue

OK..your touch screen was jammed or not working and you did reset via code *2767*3855# then the phone restarted with the calibration cross....you tapped the cross but nothing is happening.......what to do? first shutdown the phone remove the battery for 30 sec also remove the simcard put the battery again start the phone when the calibration screen pops up tap on the cross here you must feel the tapping is working by feeling a light vibration of the phone.....then tap on the lower bar of the screen which has color (light gray) different than the calibration screen the cross will move to another corner......repeat this for all four corners then you should see and OK on the bar to save and exit to the normal screen........done

You should run touchpad calibration. It's in Settings->Touch Settings->Touchpad calibration. While doing the calibration you should accurately tap at the center of the black cross with a stylus. Hope this helps.

There are various reason the touch screen of you phone might be hard.
1)The calibration of your might be changed.You have to set it correctly.
2)The touch screen sensor might be damaged or loosen,you have re-hot the connection.

1)To calibrate the settings:
In the idle mode Tap the phone and go to menu and go to settings and go to phone settings and then go to Calibration.

Menu → Settings → Phone
settings → Calibration.

Follow the screen and tap the screen with stylus, and follow the screen and save the calibration setting.

2)Since you say you are able to work with touch screen,your phone touch screen is not totally damaged...You have to just rehot the screen.If you don't have hands on in it please take it to the nearest service centre.I will cost very less.Its like soldering process.

all u need to do is to improve ur calibration
go to
MENU>>SETTINGS>>PHONE SETTINGS>>CALIBRATION
improve ur calibration but prefer to tick with thum

have a china made handheld double sim touch-screen phone. The device is Winkoy T6688. The touch screen got damaged and after reseting the device, the following notice appears after turning it on:

"Calibration wizard. You have to calibrate the touch-screen. Click anywhwere on the screen with your stylus to start calibration".

Of course you can´t but there´s no other option because it won´t accept any other input until it´s calibrated apparently. Does anyone know how to bypass this calibration wizard on start up?
