How to set up a internent connection for 2 companies both with independent lines using a single broadband connections and DrayTek V2930VN Wirelss Router/Firewall with VoIP.

The easiest solution is to use a simple router (wired-only) to connect to your Internet Service Provider.

Run a cable from one of the LAN ports on the router to a wired/wireless router, to provide access for the first company's computers.

Run another cable from another of the LAN ports on the router to a wired/wireless router, to provide access for the second company's computers.

Need to set up, lost cd to inctall on new computer

OK connect your modem to your linksys router. the modem should connect to the INTERNET port which is separated among the 4 other ports. Now, connect 1 to 4 computers through a LAN cable to any of the 4 ports. Now, using ANY 1 of the computers connected to your router, open internet browser and visit http://192.169.1.1 now when prompted, username = admin and password = <blank> (also try admin)

Slow Internet Connect

i have the same router. I recommend that you download a new driver of your lan card for your desktop pc, also if you have P2P and bittorrent applications, try to disable them first and see the difference, those programs slow down the your internet, because they hog your bandwidth and connects to multiple users.

On which port of the D-link router did you plug the WRT160N router?

Do this setup.

Disconnect the WRT160N from D-link.

Connect a computer to port 1 of the WRT160N. Access the setup page by typing 192.168.1.1 on the address bar. you may need to type in the username and password for WRT160N. on the setup page Change the LAN IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1. save the settings.

Connect a cable from port 1,2,3 or 4 of the D-link router to the Internet port of the WRT160N. turn off everything then turn them on starting from cable modem>D-link >WRT160N then computer.

You should be able to access the internet.
