Since you don't remember the Administrator anymore. There is only 2 options left.

1. A complete Fresh installation of Windows Vista.
2. If you think you have a lot of personal Data then perform a parallel installation. This will let you access to your personal data. Once you are able to make a Backup for your information, go for complete OSRI ( Operating System Re-installation).

Im trying to reset my whole computer back to factory settings and dont have the cd. and i do have the empowering technology thing but dont have the password to that the hint is balloon and i dont even know...

The default empowering password is 000000. That would be five or six zeros, I am fairly certain it is 6. You will need to boot from the original C drive for the factory restore to work. Once you enter the password in the empowering technology, you should find the option for a full factory restore.

Hope this helps

When I turn my pc on with Vista Runnng, i choose the account, enter password but it types nothing why?

Is your keyboard working? Try pushing the Num Lock and Caps Lock keys and see if the lights for those keys light up. If its a USB keyboard try another port or your computer might not be loading the USB driver for some reason.

How to Unlock Windows Vista Password?

I would like to introduce "Windows Login Recovery". It not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password. I Wrote it to an old 128mb USB flash drive to recover windows password. Booting up and clearing a password takes a minute or two works like a charm. You can download it from http://www.windowsloginrecovery.com

Forgot to save password for w3650 emachines now i am locked out

The only way I know how to reverse a password that you have forgotten on Windows Vista)

This way is to boot from the Windows Vista Home Premium DVD-ROM drive and then run the system restore utility off the disc. You can revert back to a time when you did not have the password but this will erase any programs you have installed up to the date you forgot it.
