Newer e-machines use the integrated graphics cards, but do not have expansion slots for anything else. unless you have an expansion slot for a video card add on.

you should be able to get an AGP 8X. This is an older card, but would be better than the intergrated one.
it may be a problem of hard drives jumper settings and the CMOS/BIOS setting conflicts!!
first try to go to setup on pressing F2 and load optimal values and restart!!
