Hello.

Install your Bizhub as a TCP/IP printer:

Select Add Printer
Select Local Printer (unselect attached)
Select "Create a new port"
Choose Standard TCP/IP
Enter the TCP/IP Address as 192.168.2.155
Install the Bizhub's driver (should be in CD that came with the printer).

Hope this helps.

  1. Either set a static IP for the printer or attach your computer directly using USB.
  2. Setup the printer on your computer using the driver for the printer. If the printer has Postscript capabilities the PS driver is better than the PCL driver.
  3. If the printer is USB setup like any other printer, if the printer is IP then specify a local port in the Wizard and type the IP.
  4. Choose the driver and install
  5. Afterwards go under properties and select the printer components such as duplexer, extra trays, etc.

You may need to update the driver, but it'll work. Try this site to get the Vista/Win7 drivers.

(If you absolutely can't get it to work, the HP Laserjet 4 PS driver works for almost any Postscript printer. But try the driver above.)

The segement of the print server you select is different from your computer" on Vista,

Meaning that the IP Address of the print server is different from the computer's IP Address.

If you're computer has a static IP Address, you need to assign a static IP Address for your Print Server. To assign a static IP for the print server, you need to open the PSAdmin utility on your computer, locate the TCP/IP and click the plus (+) sign. Double-click the IP Address and you may change it from there.

Make sure that the IP Address of your computer, router and print server are in the same IP range. And make sure that you could ping the IP of the print server.

Then configure the printer port settings and you should be able to print.

Have a great day!

Every printer has a unique print driver on computer, and each and every printer uses a different one, so there goes it cant be my computer. The way to tell if it is a printer or computer problem on your machine is to Turn off, unplug from computer, ensure your printer has paper, power it on, wait for ready/online lamp, then press the "go" button 5 times super FAST. Status page should print if it does, then your problem is in fact the computer or the print driver not installed correctly on your computer, as I suspect may be the case.

Post back once you have verified if you have a printer or a computer problem.
