SOURCE: iPhone 3G Error 0xE8000001

I just had this problem and it turned out to be... It didn't like my iPod cable. Switched to the iPhone cable and it worked.
Seems to be an iPhone 2.0 prob, or 3g prob, since I was using the iPod cable to sync my old iPhone just fine.

Reset and Restore iPhone to Original Default Factory Settings with Recovery Mode iPhone display freezing? iPhone doesn’t detect by or appear in iTunes? iPhone cannot sync with iTunes on PC or Mac? Cannot make or receive calls, send or receive text messages, or access email or the web? Or worse, iPhone simply won’t turn on and does not respond to tap or button press? If the problem still persists after you have reseted the iPhone, or tried various iPhone troubleshooting, it may be worthwhile to invoke recovery mode to restore iPhone to default factory settings, the original state as when you first received and unwrapped the phone.

Restoration of iPhone to original factory defaults will likely to fix all problem, with the downside that all data and information stored on your phone will be lost. Normally iTunes will make a backup automatically when you connect and sync the iPhone with the program, however, it’s still a good recommendation to copy out and backup everything that you may need on the phone before proceed to restore the iPhone.
To restore iPhone and reset the phone to default factory settings, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off iPhone - Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red slider. Ignore this step if your iPhone is already off.
  2. Press and hold down the Home button for about 10 seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please Connect to iTunes appears. iphone-recovery-mode.jpg
  3. Plug the iPhone into Mac or Windows PC. Release the button if you haven’t.
  4. Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
  5. iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
  6. You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
  7. Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhone will be back to the original settings state as when it left the manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any problem, unless it’s hardware related

Where did you purchase your phone? however, you first need to update itunes to 8.0.2, that might solve your problem. Unless you have an unlocked phone then restoring your phone is useless because when you restore an iphone with itunes in the US without an att sim card it will actually lock the phone, but I do not think that is your issue. the two things you are seeing the connect to itunes and the emergency call system means that your phone is not properly activated. which is done by connecting it to itunes.

SOURCE: itunes wont recognize my iphone

I see. maybe and this is more than sure ...this new update of the program doesn't have the drivers for the device ..or its an incomplete program ...or ..a trial ...if you can not do anything . just roll back to the old program ...and see if it works...if the problem persist try to look for a driver to install... I mean the phone driver but ...I believe its something strange cause it should have seen it like a storage device and at least work the charger

How to transfer photos from canon camera Sx530 to iPhone

You can export photos on canon camera to computer with SD card first. And then transfer photos from computer to iPhone. Just follow the below steps to learn how to transfer photos from computer to iPhone.

Using iTunes to sync photos with iPhone is also easy. As a media management center, iTunes helps you easily manage data and files (purchased and non-purchased) on your iOS devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod). You could easily sync data and files to iPhone with iTunes. But you should be very careful of the syncing function of iTunes because it is a double-edge sword. Once wrong click, you may lose data in your iPhone. You'd better back up your iPhone to iTunes before you try to sync photos to iPhone with iTunes. The following steps are going to show you how to transfer photos from PC to iPhone with iTunes:

1. Plug your iPhone into computer via the USB cable. Launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically. Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes.
2. Click on the device icon in iTunes.
3. In the sidebar on the left side of the iTunes window, click Photos tab under your iPhone.
4. Click the box next to "Sync Photos". If instead you see "iCloud Photos is On", all of your photos and videos are already on all of your devices that use iCloud Photos. You don't need to sync them through iTunes.
5. Choose the app or folder that you want to sync from. If you choose to sync a folder with sub-folders, the first level of sub-folders will appear as albums on your device.
6. Choose to sync all photos and albums or selected albums.
7. Select "Include videos" to sync the videos from your app or folder too.
8. At last, click the "Apply" button.
You may need your Apple ID to start the photo syncing. If iTunes asks, type your Apple ID into the blank, and then the synchronization starts.
But as mentioned above, iTunes is a double-edge sword. iTunes has very strict content management system, and the software never allows users to transfer files which are not got from iTunes back to computer or iTunes Library. So when you are transferring photos from PC to iPhone, iTunes wants to sync with your iPhone. Once syncing with it, you may lose the files which are not got from iTunes.

How do i sync photos onto my iphone

First of all, we would like to talk about the official solutions provided by Apple: iCloud and iTunes, both of which help Apple users to manage their data and files on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod) effectively. You could transfer photos from computer to iPhone with iCloud and iTunes respectively:
Using "Photo Stream" to transfer photos from PC to iPhone automatically with iCloud is pretty convenient. Go to "Settings > iCloud > Photos (Photo Stream on iOS 6)" and then turn on My Photo Stream. Then get your iCloud started on your PC. In the iCloud Control Panel, Check the "Photos" and then enable the "Photo Stream" option. After that, import the photos into the "Photo Stream" folder on your PC, and then you will be able to view the photos on your iPhone. Using iCloud to transfer photos from computer to iPhone is easy, but this method needs Wi-Fi connection. Only over Wi-Fi connection can iCloud sync photo on PC with iPhone. The following steps will show you how to transfer photos from PC to iPhone with iCloud.

How do you remove synced photos from the iphone?

You can do this in iTunes - with the iPhone connected select the 'photos' tab and deselect the folder containing the photos, then hit Sync to remove them.
Alternatively, just move the photos to a different location on your hard drive (out of any folder that is set to sync to iPhone), then connect to iTunes and hit sync.
Hope that helps!
