You need to download the video drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download the drivers: - www.compaq.com/country/cpq_support.html
just remove the ram and clean it and fix it again or you can try with connecting other monitor and make sure the laptop is booting properly only problem with screen.
Your DVD drive is missing the Burning Program not the driver. I found an update for your windvd software for windows 7 but you probably have to have the full program installed to run the update. Hope this helps.
Try uninstalling the RAM memory for a minute or two and start the machine with no memory, then reinstall the memory and start again, it should boot right up.
Put another monitor and go to the display settings settings advanced and there u can configure display settings if it wont work so just change the monitor
