N70 Unable to install. Security Error

When am trying to install new themes, am getting an error saying that ' Installation Security Error. Unable to Install'.

    hi my problem is somewhat related to this one When i tried to install new themes, i got an error saying that ' Installation Security Error. Unable to Install'. then a pop up message " cancel try again or continue, i hit cancel, it keeps on popping, and then i tried to save pictures from my computer it says " disk is write protected, pls remove write protection from ur memory card" i dont know what to do, pls help me

Try go to tools --> manager ---> options ---> Settings ---> Software Installation, and Change to "On".

There could be a number of reasons, the most likely is the phone being overfull with data old, new and unnecessary files.
The phone needs a certain amount of memory to function. Also make sure the themes are for the Nokia N70.
Go to www.ownskin.com and try their themes or make your own.
The security on install should be ignored, (at your risks). Most companies don't bother with the security certificate.

TO MANY FUCKEN IDIOT BOLONEY HERE....

In NOKIA N70:

1. Go to: MENU>>TOOLS>>MANAGER>> then on the TOP you gonna see: " Application manager " UNDER THE APPLICATION MANAGER you gonna see: " Application downloads " AND UNDER THE application downloads you gonna see some THEME name ( example: Glass_Apple_b...)you downloaded from your PC to your NOKIA N70 before nut could not installed, because you got the message: "Installation Security Error".
And now: go to the THEME ( example: Glass_Apple_b...) and then left side you gonna see: OPTIONS, click to the OPTIONS.
And now go to SETTINGS, and go to: Software Isntallation and THICK FOR: ON,
"Online certif. check" THICK: Off.
GONE...now you can install any NOKIA N70 Themes, and do not cry anymore:))) ********:))

The errors are caused because of the security measures introduced into the new version of Symbian Series 60 mobile operating system disallowing installation of old applications and invalid certificates, however bypassing this security feature and fixing these certificate errors to install themes and softwares is very easy, simply follow the instructions below:
  1. Open you mobile main Menu.
  2. Navigate to Settings -> General -> Date and time
  3. Now change the year back one year.
  4. Now install the application.
  5. Don't forget to change date back to original.
If the above does not solve the problem goto Application Manager > Options > Settings and set "Online Certificate check" = Off and Software Installation = All.

this prblm is faced by many peoples bcoz the software u r trying to install could untrusted.so just go to usefullsoftz.xtgem.com and download mobilesigner.zip its free of cost.intall it in ur phone and sign the application which gives u the error using mobile signer and then install it

I cant install the theme that im downloading in my cp nokia n95
you cannot install n95 theme in your nokia n70 because symbian classes are different.. (N95 = S60v3) and (N70 = S60). you can download themes from zedge.com its simple just select the device and you'll be good to go. you can also create your own themes

you have to format your phone enter this code when your on the main menu *#7370# then click yes it will look for your security code...enter your code then your phone will automatically reboot by itself after the phone boots try to install themes again..

Installation security error
Hi,
Go to application manager.
Open settings.
Make sure : software installation is set to "ALL".
And online certification check is set to "OFF".
