Cloths still very wet after final spin cycle

From my understanding your Frigidaire frontload washer is not spinning the final spinning and the clothes are still wet. If you washer is overloaded it will not spin properly to release the water out of the clothes. Also, a small load will cause your washer to not spin properly. You should additionally check the drain hose to make sure it not kinked or twisted that could cause your improper draining. If all that checks properly it could be an issue with your drain pump, motor, and control panel. I would suggest consulting with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. It's very possible that the impeller in the drain pump is striping out and not allowing the pump to get up to high enough spin to completely drain.

a belt has snapped or came off or the motor and brushes are damaged.

it sounds like there is either an obstruction in the pump, or the load is getting off balance during the spin cycle. two things to try, fill the washer with no cloths in it, when it starts to agitate, stop the cycle and put it in drain/spin cycle. the water should be out in under a minute. its hard to see because the door locks, but you can hear a difference in the pump when its out, or after 60 seconds, press cancel and open the lid to check. if the waters out in that time, the pumps ok. then run it through the spin diagnostic with a load of cloths. make sure the cloths are wet, and a normal load you wash. this will check to see if the load is getting off balance, and shutting down during the spin cycle. let me know if you still have the problem. good luck, shane

I can't solve this but am having a similar problem. There is no water in the tub but the spin cycle does not get enough water out of the clothes and they're very wet. This causes the towels especially... to smell really bad. The tub is very loose. How can this be fixed.

If the motor has a transmission, it could be stuck in 1st gear. I think the agitator running is normal.

The heavy jacket prevented the washer from spinning at a rapid pace, so I added a heavy bathrobe to absorb some of the water and to balance the load. The washer then spun very quickly and drained out all the water.

You are having a door switch problem change it out and you will have a new washing machine.
