My new job has a Lucent phone and it does not ring at my desk. The only phone I hear ringing is two doors down from my office. Please help me program my phone to ring at my desk. I all ready tried the volume buttons and this does not bring the ringing to my phone.

Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Central telephone Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout

Does the time and date show correctly?
Are the buttons still programmed correctly?
Whenh you call in, does it ring a half ring then you hear the voicemail "transferring call"?????
If so, the system lost all its programming.

It sounds like your extension is forwarded (confirmed by the one beep you hear on an incoming call.

From any display phone, press Feature 11
then enter your extension number 2 times. So if you are extension 20, do this:
Feature11-20-20
see if that does it.

First you will need to add extensions to a group X in #502
When you login to administrative mailbox you will change you operator extension to 7X. Phones in the group will ring

all lines that are programmed on your phone will light up.

Solid means immediate ring. Slow flash means delayed ring. Really fast flash means no ring.

Press the line you wish to not ring, 2 times.

Feature 00 when you are done.
