The temperature on my Heartland refrigerator fluctuate between 34 deg and 50 deg, is this normal?

Hi,

How long does this temperature issue last? When you notice this issue how long does this sit at the hire temp, 1 hour? I am trying to understand why Heartland/Marvel would ask you to turn it off. Please let me know. Thanks

Why is the temperature alarm light on, on my freezer Model# FFU21M8CW?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that the temperature alarm light is on for your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU21M8CW. This feature is designed to provide a warning of a possible malfunction. If the temperature of the food rises to a level unsafe for long-term storage, the buzzer will sound. The red light, if equipped, will also glow. The Temp Alarm feature operates on household electricity. If power fails, the alarm will not function. An ON/OFF switch allows you to deactivate the Temp Alarm when not wanted. Your freezer is shipped with the Temp Alarm in the OFF position. After your freezer has run approximately 4 hours, the red light, if equipped, will go off. Then you may activate the Temp Alarm without the alarm sounding. Press the ON switch to activate the Temp Alarm. To deactivate, press the OFF switch. If the alarm sounds, be sure freezer is properly leveled, and the door closes freely, and seals properly. If you suspect a technical malfunction, call an authorized servicer immediately. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Fisher paykel e381t

It is probably no more expensive than a CONTROL BOARD...
POSSIBLY as cheap as a door switch...

It is sensing a DOOR ALARM... and quite reasonably
stopping ... and alarming.

You need to find the PIZZA box, poor door alignment
or FAULTY circuitry that is causing the ALARM.

ELSE
Contact the maker for support
(on your back panel... or by reading your Owners Manual).

I have a Whirlpool MFI2266AES and few days ago the ice/water dispenser stopped working. At the same time the freezer temprature started to rise and the temp alarm started beeping. The freezer fan was...

Hi, it sounds like your having problems with the thermostat ,they don't last for ever. I had the same problem with a fridge freezer and i got the temp thermostat replaced. You have a modern unit and you may have two but i think you have to look at the ice cube maker side first. Check that the water supply is getting to it.Have a look at your manual or you can type in the make and model and look up online .

check the defrost thermostat , and any temp sensor that can determine the freezer temperature.
If this fridge temperature is electronically controlled, the freezer control board must also be tested.

Trio: humming and temp in freezer rising

It sounds like the condensor fan motor is seizing up. This is the fan that cools the compressor down. Does the outside of the fridge feel excessively hot to touch? Can you feel air being circulated under the fridge or behind the fridge? It could also be a faulty defrost timer. Try to identify where the buzzing is coming from and if it is the condensor fan you can put a normal standing fan behind the fridge, blowing onto the compressor untill the repairman can get to you.
