Hi. I tried looking for your manual but am having a problem with that model number. Kenmore model numbers begin with three numbers (like 117 or 385), then a dot, then four (or more) numbers, like 117.1234. But here's a link to a group that specializes in older Kenmores like yours and they should be able to help. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vintagekenmoressew/

I really love old sewing machines and am really glad to see them used and loved.

Happy Sewing!

Robbie

How do I refill the thread bobbin on a Kenmore sewing maching,,model 148-19371

You can try a couple of YouTube videos:

Loading thread on the bobbin old Kenmore sewing machine
(do not wind the bobbin as fast as he does as it tends to stretch the thread and also could cause the spool to fly off the machine!)

I am trying to use a singer featherweight II but I can't figure out how to thread the machine no manual

Is this a very old machine because the manual I"ve located doesn' look like the image on Fixya.

Try this link http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/997_white-117.-kenmore-x.pdf

Singer have various model manuals downloadable, you just need to search them at their website page http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals/search

Trust this helps you out.

If you don't resolve the issue and this is a vintage machine, then there is some good user groups such as Vintage Singers under Yahoo where enthusiasts share info on their old machines. Good to lurk though or go through old threads first as there is often someone else who has asked similar question in the past. There may also be manuals in their files so have a dig around.

I have a 7050 model JC Penney sewing machine. I can not thread the machine properly, because there are tiny loops appearing on the underside of the material being sewn? Help?

The only place I saw for your manual was at tias, relics. You can google it and see the one I saw, I think the cost was $17 for a reproduction copy, I don't know who else would carry it, but it will answer your questions on how to thread it properly. Without seeing it I am assuming that you do not have it threaded right, or it needs a new needle. I am sure that it is a good old machine and worth fixing, they don't make em like they used to. I am not sure who made your model, so it would be best to buy the exact manual for your particular machine. Sears and Penney's did not make their own machines, they had other manufacturers make them, like Elna, Singer Necchi etc. Sometimes you can even purchase a repair manual that a Penney's technician had, I did with an old Kenmore that I had, but alas, it only confirmed my suspician that the motor was shot. You may be lucky and find one somewhere else for less money but I don't have time to do more research. Good luck

Could you tell me what the value of the Kenmore Sewing Machine Model E-6354, I want to sale it.

Your model number is not E6345, that is probably the cabinet number. Kenmore's have a nonclementure plate on the machine that gives the numbers. They start with something like 117, 158, 385 etc. then they have about 4 or 5 numbers after that.
