Regards,
If the 900 error appears only when you send a print job to the printer, the likely source of the problem is the computer. Turn off the printer. Leave it powered off for 30 seconds or more to clear its memory. Do not power the printer off and on too quickly. Doing so can cause a power issue and create this type of issue.
While the printer is off, clear any pending print jobs from the computer or the network queue. This will prevent any corrupted print jobs from being re-sent to the printer when it is powered back on.
If the error appears every time you power on the printer, regardless of whether you send a print job or not, the likely source of the problem is a part on the printer. There is probably an issue with either the printer or an option installed on the printer. Power off the printer again and remove any installed options from the printer. This would include an optional paper tray, any extra memory, and any optional network cards.

Does it happen to all print jobs? Try to use different drivers. PS drivers tend to be slower than PCL drivers and graphics tend to print slower than text.
