6200 whirlpool cabrio, Ld error code. Usually, cancel, start corrects problems. Now seems like it won't spin. Tried unplugging and restarting, that also didn't work.

most likely a clogged pump drain find it below the drum usually under a plastic lid bottom left if not under the lower panel below the door

find the 3 screws and remove the cover panel and clean the pump by twisting the pump valve cover counter clockwise

WHIRLPOOL CABRIO WASHER ERROR LD The Cabrio Washer LD error code stands for Long Drain which means the control has recognized the water in the tub is not draining fast enough during the cycle.
  1. Make sure the pump and drain hose are clear of debris that would cause a blockage.
  2. Check the impeller on the drain pump and make sure its not wobbly or busted.
  3. Remove the tub hose from the pump to the tub and check it for blockage.
  4. Make sure the pump is running when and getting the proper voltage when it should be.
  5. If all the above checks out then replace the drain pump motor.

Why 4E error code keep appearing on my Samsung washing machine

The 4E error indicates that the washer hasn't detected enough water coming into the unit. The problem could be in your incoming water line (low water pressure), the washer hoses, the inlet valves, or the sensors that detect the length of time to reach a specific amount of water in the washer. It can even be caused by having the outlet hose positioned too low in the discharge pipe or sink.

First check the obvious possibilities: make sure that the shut-off valves have been opened. If you hear water running into the washer and then into the discharge plumbing after a few minutes, raise the end of the discharge hose to a level above the washer fill level.

Shut-off the incoming water and remove the washer fill hoses. Place a bucket under the hoses and open the shut-off valves. Check that you have good water pressure; the washer is looking for the tub to fill in about 8 minutes. Then turn off the water. Clean the filters in the hose at the shut-off valves and the ones inside the washer at the inlet valve. You may want to replace the washer fill hoses; some anti-flood hoses will constrict if they detect a leak and limit the water pressure.

If the water flow at the hoses is good and isn't exiting the washer, then the problem is either the inlet valve or the water flow sensor. Does any water reach the tub? If it doesn't, check the inlet valve and make sure that it is getting the proper electrical signal from the control unit. If water is reaching the tub, then the problem in the flow sensing system. Some washers use an air tube that helps check the pressure in the system. If this tube is leaking or clogged, the sensor will give incorrect messages. Other systems have a small switch that moves as the water passes through the inlet valve. This can fail.

There can be other problems that give the same symptoms. If you post the model number of your washer, I may be able to point you to the correct diagnostic steps.

Model 11026955690. Why does screen indicate LP?

I am not familiar with any error code referencing "LP". Could you be seeing "LF"?
Below are the error codes listed for your washer:
  • "LF" (Long Fill) Inlet hoses are kinked or clogged or water valve screens are not clear. (Solution: Straighten inlet hoses or clear screens of any foreign material.)
  • "LD" (Long Drain) Drain hose is kinked or clogged. (Solution: Straighten or unclog hose.)
  • "FF" (Fill Failure) Problem with water level sensing system. (Solution: Call for service.)
  • "OL" (Open Lid) Lid Is open during drain or spin. (Solution: Close lid.)
  • "PF" (Power Failure) Power to washer went off during cycle. (Solution: Press any pad to clear the display. Restart the washer from the beginning of the cycle.)

Ld signal won't drain

For the LD error please check for the following:

  • Check for kinked or clogged Drain Hose: Remove any obstructions in the drain hose / stand pipe / utility sink. Straighten the hose to remove any kinks. If the washer is unable to drain due to a kinked or restricted drain hose, the washer may not spin.
  • Check for Standpipe higher than 8 feet above the floor:The pump is not powerful enough to pump water to heights greater than 8ft. The water will remain in the basket.
  • Check for excessive suds in the washer: Drain pumps cannot drain suds out of the washer.
To clear the suds condition: Check the drain hose and make sure the hose is not plugged or kinked Press pause/cancel twice to clear the display Run the machine through a Rinse/Spin cycle using cold water, then a Normal cycle using cold water.

Note: Do NOT add any additional detergent. This will remove much of the remaining detergent held in the fabric. This step may have to be repeated to remove all the detergent.

Goes partly through cycle-then gives code ld

Hello there:
For the LD error please check for the following:
  • Check for kinked or clogged Drain Hose: Remove any obstructions in the drain hose / stand pipe / utility sink. Straighten the hose to remove any kinks. If the washer is unable to drain due to a kinked or restricted drain hose, the washer may not spin.
  • Check for Standpipe higher than 8 feet above the floor:The pump is not powerful enough to pump water to heights greater than 8ft. The water will remain in the basket.
  • Check for excessive suds in the washer: Drain pumps cannot drain suds out of the washer.
To clear the suds condition: Check the drain hose and make sure the hose is not plugged or kinked Press pause/cancel twice to clear the display Run the machine through a Rinse/Spin cycle using cold water, then a Normal cycle using cold water.Note: Do NOT add any additional detergent. This will remove much of the remaining detergent held in the fabric. This step may have to be repeated to remove all the detergent. If the appliance does not accept inputs from the control panel, follow the Hard Reset steps below to reset the control:
  • Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord into the wall outlet or turn the breaker back on and wait 30 seconds.
  • Press the Pause / Cancel / Stop button twice to clear the display.
  • Start a short cycle, to check operation of the appliance, by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the appliance starts.
Note: If the Hard Reset does not work, there may be an internal failure with the appliance, that requires service. The SD error code is caused by using the wrong detergent or excessive amounts of detergent.
To correct the issue: Make sure to use HE detergent. Note: Using Non - HE Detergent will cause oversudsing and can damage the washer. Do not use too much detergent.
Note: If using HE 2x - 5x concentrate detergent, reduce the amount being used. The washer will try to run a mini-clean out cycle using cold water and a 5 minute pause to clear the suds. If this cycle does not clear the display and complete the cycle the clothing may need to be rinsed by hand and then rewashed without detergent.
I have included a list of all the error codes and what they indicate below this includes the F50 error code. I recommend scheduling a service repair so a technician can properly diagnose and repair your washe

Got an F2 error code on my whirlpool duet washer what does it mean?

F20 code stating "No water or Insufficient water supply".

Possible solutions/areas to look at:
· Check the inlet screens where the hose connects to washer. Make sure it’s clean.
· Check height and length of discharge hose. If it goes into a "standard" height wall box, a sagging drain hose can make the tank siphon on the final spin. Wind the drain hose around some of the clips on the back of the washer, decreasing the sag in the discharge hose to almost nothing.
· Check to see if there is a tiny hole in the pressure switch hose-happens from the drum rubbing on the hose.
· Lastly, it may be the water inlet valve has failed. It’s fairly common. You can search for it online and put it in yourself. It’s pretty simple to do. Whirlpool part number 8540751

Water will not drain out of washer

Disconnect the discharge hose from the washer and look for a clog at both ends of the hose. Also, look down where the discharge port is on the washer and clear out the clog there also. If you see no clogs, then make sure your discharge hose is not crimped at such an angle to prevent water from flowing through. Also, make sure your discharge hose is not running on the floor and that it goes vertical straight 4.5 to 5 feet from the floor and then loops directly into the discharge pipe. Give that a shot. Still no water drain? Then the water pump needs to be replaced.

Washer display flashing error code f-21

The F21 code on the Maytag EPIC is telling you there is a pump problem.
The pump impellers should be checked. There should be four of them.
Sometimes the impeller blades can be broken by coins, etc.
Make sure that the pump is clear of debris, to do this:
Remove the discharge hose, and blow through it.
If after clearing of water, the hose doesn't blow free and clear, you have something stuck in there.
You will need to clear the pump of the item that is stuck inside.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps,

Had the ld code i checked the discharge hose and replaced .

I experienced many LD's over the years with my whirlpool calypso. My non-technical solution (not recommended but it usually worked) was to push an electrical "fish tape" down the discharge hose trying to dislodge some debris. That process was successful about 90% of the time.

Perhaps the better solution is to take the back off and look at what I believe is a check valve contraption. That piece has about four hoses that attach to it. What I recently did was remove the hose on the left side as you face the back of the washer (closest to the back wall of the washer). I then found a suitable instrument that I could shove into the valve assembly and hook onto the big clump of debris that had collected in the valve assembly. By the time I was done there was about a baseball size clump of lint and hair and who knows what............but the washer did drain freely after that ............(until the U-Joint failed).

Bought an LG.

Calpso washer

I had a similar problem twice and botht time the culprit was a loose bra wire that had found it's way down to the discharge area prior to the drain outlet. It was interfering with the check valve ball and causing the error message. I removed one of the hoses and reached in with a needle nose pliers tos snatch the loose wire. I hope this helps. Tom
