If I lock my router, will my IP address be undectectable to any website I visit?

No. But first some clarification...

If you are connected to the LinkSys through a home network your computer will be getting an IP address of either 192.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x. This IP address cannot be seen by servers on the internet. However, the one that is for your household which is provided by your ISP can always be seen. This is how the internet knows where to send the information that you request back to you.

Need wpa key to set up internet with my ps3 but dont know wat that is?

WPA is a Wireless Internet Authentication technology. It is setup through your home wireless router. If you have home wireless internet, you should know your WPA or WEP key. However, you dont have Wireless, you might just want to run a network cable from your router to the Playstation.

How do I lock my Belkin wireless router?

You can lock your router by setting a password to access it. This is done in your router setup, in the Wireless area. I prefer WPA-PSK [TKIP] for the ease of setup and password selections. This should keep unwanted access to your wireless signal.

I hooked up our wii to the internet via our dlink wireless now all the computers are locked out, my account says inactive and when i try to access the internet it goes into a loop...whats up?

The Wii could have triggered your connection settings inside your router firmware to lock up. Router settings may need to be configured to work with your Wii and the other PCs OK

When you access the router, USE A CABLE, do NOT access the router with a wireless conection.
