My Samsung bd-P1500 Blu-Ray player has issues. When you put a BR disc in it goes to "load" and just stays on that name. It never plays the disc. What are my options?
I dont know what version of firmware do you have in that blu ray player, but it had been updates.
be sure to update the last version from here: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/tv-vi...
that could fix the problem if the problem is firmware and not hardware.

If you are talking about the blu-ray disc not playing, try a regular DVD, if okay! the laser pickup assembly is the problem because more precision and speed is required when watching blu-ray. But if you are talking about a loading bay issue, this is a job for a professional.
Connect the ethernet cable to the backside of the samsung bluray 1500 player ethernet connection with the bluray player power on with no disk & it will automatically update your bluray. It should be work fine after update your bluray. Good Luck!
OR GO TO www.samsung.com click Support then Downloads and enter your model number. There's instructions for downloading firmware and loading via usb stick or cd.
All disc players have a thing called stacked tolerance. What it boils down to is some transports in players will not play certain discs; plain and simple.
All you can do it test it out on another BD player to make sure the disc is fine and test another disc in your BD player and make sure it hasn't gone defective.
Sorry I don't have an easy fix, this is not an uncommon problem.
it seems that samsung is posting it's firm updates online @ samsung.com i had same problem with my BD-UP5000 its connected to the internet when i go to the menue to update on the bluray player it said i had the latest update went online and found a new firmware on there web site, check samsung web site
hey same problem here, but I just downloaded the CD version anyways... then dropped the .RUF file onto my desktop, selected it, burnt it to a CD-R (RW will also work) and popped it into the BD-P1500, so far it seems to be running along steadily in the update process... hope this solves your problem.
