Is it easy to install a front-facing child safety seat in a 1998 Toyota Corolla?
This model appears to not have a top anchor for the top strap to be connected to and would have to be welded in to the vehicle. Have it serviced, and installed, if it is a forward facing car seat... if a rear, just use the usual seat belt and pull it through the bottom slots of your child seat, while making sure that the seat belt is fully extended. Once you do, you will hear clicks while it begins to return to its normal position, that is the sound that the child safety feature in your carolla is working. Make sure the seat is snug and the front seat is also tight against the baby seat.
As long as you have the sealtbelt properly fitted on the childs chest. there wont be any problems. btw, i have a 1979 toyota corona. so that makes our cars nearly the same.
