& from what im seeing there isnt a code for a LG under DVD

You can try codes for LG that are under CD but dont know if that will work.

it is one of these code you will have to try them all till you get the right one they are 059    060    019    014    052    075          
1 turn on tv to be prog
2 on remote hold down set
3 whilst holding set button press and release power button
4 release set button
5 press tv button on controll
6 using key pad key in code
7 press enter button
8point remote at telly
9 press power button c if it works
