The motor is tight, (can't turn) lubricate the motor bearings with light machine oil. retest. rust causes this. the motor "tries" to turn, more power is needed, still can't turn, power exceeds safe limits: breaker trips.

This appliance has 3-ft drainage hose and a 16-ft pump hose. I searched for a store that carry these hose, unfortunately, none of them sell a part or accessory for the DE500P.
