First, try a different battery. Does the red light come on if you charge it? If not, probably a broken USB port. You're gonna have to disassemble the phone and repair the USB port : Blackberry Repair Guide.
I own this same phone and usually while you have to wait for the red light to go off to commence to turning it on. I know on mines you kind of have to hold the power button down for longer than usual. One problem I've run into with this phone is charging it( i can't even charge it in the outlet anymore, i have to use a pc :-(), so make sure that the phone is charging properly for it to be able to turn on.
You need to get a different charger. The Mini-USB head on the charger is losing contact with the phone charging connectors. Try not to push or wiggle the mini-usb head too often when it is connected to the phone because you could bend the pins inside the phone's female charging receptacle. If that happens, you will need to get another phone because it will definitely need to be replaced then.
I would strongly advise trying a different and preferably new charger. Good luck, and hope this helps.
Take the batter out, leave it out for 5 minutres and do a hard reset to it. Once the batter is put back in it should first turn on with a red light and eventually boot up if you say the bvattery is fully charged
