Remove memory card and plug it to computer via card reader and check if it is able to reade the details
If it is successfully read by the computer, then take a back up of entire memory card.
Then format the entire memory card.
Check if it is recognized. If recognized, remove and plug it back to computer and copy only the required file to memory card like music, pictures and videos.
If not recognized, you will loose the data, try reformatting the memory card and use as new.
What you can do here first is to save all the data of your memory card to your computer and then after that format the memory card using the format option on your PSP....
If the memory card is recognized and readable in a USB card reader, the memory card is fine. If the 6910 does not recognize the memory card, either the card is not properly seated in the 6910 card reader slot, the card slot is not connected to the main board of the 6910 or you need a DIFFERENT device driver for the 6910.
I doubt you have a virus on your memory card. Viruses for phones are rare, simply because they are hard to create. Even so, a virus will seek to attack the phones internal memory, to destroy the phone.
So try to format u r memory card and try again to confirm wether the issue is with the memory card or the phone.
Take the following in mind:
1. Format the card ONLY in the phone 2. Do not switch the card around with different phone models, to transfer data for example. 3. Do not use a card reader to read the data that is on the memory card. Use your original USB/Infrared/Bluetooth/WLAN connectivity kit to connect with the computer and browse your files.
Hello. Regarding your problem first you have to consider the compatibility of your memory card in your computer cause not all memory card supported by computer. Other memory card need to install their device driver in order to recognize by the system that you are currently using. Therefore my recommendation, try to check first if the your memory card reader evice is recognize by the system/computer then check also the memory card itself maybe their something wrong with your memory card and if you find out that the memory card of your's have the problem then return it to the supplier.
try using a different card reader. had previous issues with a specific card reader not recognizing my memory card, and using a different card reader worked for me.
Does your computer recognize any other memory cards? If this is the only card that the computer is not recognizing, I would recommend a new memory card. If your computer is not recognizing any memory cards, I would recommend that you visit the pc manufacturer's web site and download the newest firmware/drivers for the card reader.
