My Panasonic DMP-BD55 Blue ray won't palt together. Each works great by themself.

You might want to try re-setting the receiver. This will delete all of your settings... but helped me when I had a very similar issue w/ DMP BD35 and my onkyo sr606. After turning on the receiver, hold the VCR/DVR button and the on/standby buttons down simultaneously, until the display says "Clear". Now you will just have to set up all of the settings again

Onkyo TX-SR606 power on default input setting and hissing sound

I had the same problem for more than a year but just lived with it. The solution is to reset the receiver to factory defaults. Page 96 of the owners manual, "turn the unit on and while holding down the VCR/DVR button, press the ON/STANDBY button. CLEAT will appear on the display and the unit will turn off". Problem solved!
