How do u change the battery in a 5.11 watch i have a 5.11 field ops watch, was told i had to send it in to be replaced, i dont feel that its necessary how do i do it?

Because I know I will, I wouldn't do that...I'd feel bad. I have extra batteries for that watch...as long as you accept a small percentage...of failure...I'll always send the watch back..with a new battery. I'm just helping the general populous...if things are tight financially. I recommend a trained professional to replace that battery. If you have the money go to a trained-expert watch shop..get a quote...if it's too much $ send to me.

Let me be honest with you. Dont. If you dont know what your are doing to change a battery, you will do more harm then good. And once that happens, you will lose your RW warranty.

this happens a lot the watch you have has to separate batteries both batteries were probably old. they tried replacing both but the movement on the analog part is probably corroded or rusty.

This is an early warning sign to get the battery changed .The watch should still keep time for a couple of weeks.

If your watch is an electronic radio controlled type , then it may be set to the wrong time zone.

Try pressing the mode button to reach the time zone setting and use other buttons to change the city.

Take or send it back to your supplier, with an explanation of the problem.

Take it to a reputable watch repair shop and let them change it for you! If you try to change that battery yourself and the crystal breaks or something goes wrong then you will have to send it back to Tissot for repair! They dont sell parts!

You an change the batteries of your field and stream wrist wach by going to the back and gently getting the flip covering the backside of the wrist watch and there you will see the battery which needs replacement, you know replace the old battery with a new one recommended for field and stream F116GWBS
