Hi guys I have some problems with my iPhone, there's a bunch of weird translucide dead pixels on my screen and I don't know if I should just change my screen or find a DIY solution.

Somebody has to open the iPhone and replace the digitizer. The cheapest way is to do it your self and you should get aways with around $70. The part is available on ebay. If you want to pay to have a service do it for you there are third party iPhone Screen Repair Services. To try to do it yourself, here's a iPhone Repair guide on how to disassemble an iPhone. As you can see from the guide, this is not quite that easy. Maybe a tech savvy friend can do it for you.

Block on left side of screen 1 inch from left side from top to bottom

Either your screen is out of sync (go to monitor settings to adjust), or you have a bunch of dead pixels, in which case you need a new monitor.

Dead pixel repair

Hi Tasha,
Unfortunately, repairs at the "pixel level" are not possible. The display is an "all or nothing" type of repair (I'm not talking about the back lights and support electronics - I'm *only* talking about the display screen). That means that the entire screen is replaced if there are to many dead pixels. (Most screens have dead pixels - manufacturers limit the number of dead pixels on a screen that can be assembled to a TV). If it the Quality Assurance people in the factory find a number of dead pixels that is less than a certain amount - it is "good" and ships. If it is more - it is scrapped.

Generally, your options are: live with it, replace the screen or buy a new TV.

How big is the screen on the new iPhone 5?

One of the most exciting new features with the iPhone 5 is the larger screen display. In order to compete with the rest of the market, Apple decided to increase their screen size to 58 mm which beats the screen size of a Samsung galaxy by nearly 11 mm. You can now have five rows of apps per page, whereas before your iPhone could hold only four rows

Hi , 2 weeks ago i noticed some dead pixels showing up on my screen (white dots) since then i'm up to 10 dead pixels. What can i do? I heard it might be the dlp projector that has to be replaced...

White pixels are STUCK pixels, not dead. Read the warranty beacuse at a certain number of stuck/dead pixels, the tv is repaired for free by the seller if is in warranty period.
