Can't turn ON. TV SOYO DYLT032b, Part Number LC-32B6C2

TV SOYO DYLT032b, Part Number LC-32B6C2
TV is plugged and OFF. Power indicator is red. When I try to turn TV ON (either pushing POWER button or by remote), the indicator turns dark, screen is black, no sound. What can I do? Is schematic available?Thank you in advance. Leo

Long story short: 
Had the same problem with my Soyo. 
Thought it was the power supply board problem that everyone else was reporting. 
ordered one.  Plugged it in.  Did not work. 
Inspected the Main/Logic board and found what looked like a black button that could be depressed.  It is located to the right of main processor on the board.  You can't really miss it. 
With the TV plugged in, I pressed the suspect button.  The TV made a buzzing/clicking noise for a few moments and the stuck blue illuminated power button faded away. 
Curious by this, I pressed the power button and low and behold the TV comes to life! 
Looks like I found a "reset" button which seems to have fixed my problem. 
Thanks Soyo for not bothering to mention that such a button exists. 
I hope the rest of you have the same good luck.  In the event you are still in need of a power supply board, email me.  I have a spare now it seems.  ;)

I HAVE FOUND 2 2200uf CAPS ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD THAT ARE PUFFED UP. CHANGING THEM USUALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THERE'S ALSO A RESET BUTTON ON THE MAIN BOARD YOU MAY NEED TO RESET AFTER CHANGING THE CAPS.

i had this problem when i bought mine 3yrs ago.even soyo's web site didn't have a code.but recently direct tv downloaded some new codes in the remote set-up section. now they have one for soyo it is 11520.

Soyo Flat Screen TV won't turn on. Red light blinks but nothing powers on.
How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy.

I have a soyo tv and the codes on the setup sheet do not work
Try a code search method. If the remote have codes for your TV, you will won. It is a time taking procedure. Check it. Here the procedure is.
Code Search
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

IDENTIFYING CODES FOUND USING THE SEARCH PROCEDURE
  1. Press and hold the SETUP until the LED indicator lights steadily. Release Setup button.
  2. Press the mode button that matches the equipment you want to identify. The LED blinks once.
  3. Press and release SETUP. The LED blinks once.
  4. To find the first digit, press each number button from 0 to 9 until the LED blinks. The number you pressed is the first digit of the code.
  5. Press each number button from 0 to 9 again as above to find the second digit.
  6. Press each number button from 0 to 9 again as above to find the third digit.
  7. Press each number button in turn to find the fourth digit. When the fourth digit has been found, the LED goes out

Power is on in standby, but takes several times pushing the power button for the power or tv to actually come on
Very bad for the TV, don't do this!
Got the remote control? Switch on or off (full operation) from Standby with it and just use the main manual switch on the TV for, say, morning ON for the day and evening OFF for the night.

Have a soyo mt-sytpt4227ab for the last year, was watchin tv and the picture went. audio worked fine. unplugged it and let it sit, plugged it back in and red light on tv comes on but power doesnt turn on...
take the back off and get to the power supply most likely you will find some bad capacitors in it they will probaly have the tops of the caps bulgeing.

Hesitates to start up, the power on indicator flickers, sometimes stays on , then the set comes on, intermittent power on problem!
Look at the power supply for bad solder joints, burnt parts, bad capacitors first.

The television turns on for about ten seconds than the screen goes blank.

Check its sleep settings. Someone may have hit the sleep timer and have set it to about 10 seconds. If that still doesn't help, please post a reply here.

Bell express vu remote codes for soyo tv
1 - Hold the clear tv buttom until all 4 light flash red
2- Press the red tv buttom
3- Press the amount of time needed on the up cursor ( around select buttom) until your tv shut down
4-When the tv goes off press the search buttom ( at the end on the right side )
5-Press record

Then u can use the red tv buttom to control ur tv and u can control the volume on satelitte mode without going back to tv mode , if u press too much time while searching the code and the tv wont light back , do the same thing but instead pressing the up cursor press the down one to go back on the code it will be faster .
