In my opinion you have to find you motherboard product no. & just visit developers website & enter your product number there. you will get driver download option for that product.

If motherboard developer website provides online utility to fix driver problem then scan your PC online to get correct drivers for your product. If you using vista or Windows 7 then keep your automatic updates ON. System will download & install required audio driver automatically.

I recently purchased a Lenovo laptop model no G450 and since then i am not able to load the Audio drivers on the windoes XP Opertaing System.. although i have downloaded the 255Mb drivers from the Lenovo...
it needs the Microsoft UAA Bus driver to be installed first before updating the Audio Driver. Download that driver first and then your xp audio driver: http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_1402.html

After reinstalling my sound did not effect.
Re-Install the drivers from the system disk that came with your computer. If no disk, go to the website and download the drivers for your model computer.
