Some times it scans and sometimes it doesnt

is the transmission failure lamp on?
as stated in the operators guide?
no matter, scan it, plug in the scan tool and scan it
see all those P07xx codes, those be tranny, (and others)
always scan first. and check all fuses 1st 1st.

its a titywity prob sir. i have also faced it .it sometimes work some times doesnt. if u have installed the scan gear then u have u use a scanner software life adobe etc to access the scanner through it. u can also use word,photoshop,corel etc to access it

Disk checking is sometime good but if system finds any missing entries or corrupt files it will keep doing the checks.

First thing to do is let the disk checkingbe done 100% and disk checking doesnt goes through 100% or hangs in between you can try below option.
To avoid such scanning microsoft has developed utility CHKNTFS

One time you can skip the disk scanning and log into the system
Go to start->run-> type cmd and hit enter
black screen will open up. Type the following command in there to stop disk checking on particular drive.

chkntfs /X C: D: E:

Put the drive letter that you always find going under disk scanning

i had same problem ...i changed frt brks washed underbody service 4wd and then dissconnected - batt wait 5 min then road trip no more problems
.gm glitch computer doesnt sence original perameters so it send trouble codes

you have to look for the scan buttom lock, sometimes its located where the papers out, or behind the machine, its small buttom to lock and unlock the scanner when you want to move it.

new models of Ricoh is having same procedures to do scan to folder. You had to make sure first that the destination folder on the pc is shared with full permission to everyone or on a specific username. Then on the machine you had to specified the folder path and the proper authentication. Then you can do scan to folder. "Sometimes the pc automatically shutsdown or scan doesnt goes to the folder due to the antivirus which your using".

The bulb might of gone bad. Time for a new scanner.

u better reinstall the original drivers for ur cam also perform virus scan with latest antivirus

Do you have a spare USB cable. Sometimes if that goes bad, that happens.

Try another available UBS port as well.

TRy reloading printer driver if this doesnt work try to scan using adobe photoshop
