Car cd player ..................no sound

Obviously no speaker to cd player connection

If the CD-R/DVD has sound in another computer or player be sure your computer's external speakers are powered and on. Quit the player application that you are using for the DVD. If you are using the computer's internal speakers, or if the external speakers are plugged in and turned on, go to the System Preferences and open the Sound control panel. Be sure that the correct output sources is selected. Open the CD-R/DVD player and see if the sound now works.

Put a cd in the dvd player then tune to the channel and it should work, then try a dvd.
When dvd player does not boot up and display the Kia logo, try moving the door as the hinge turns on the screen and sometimes the connection in the hinge can play up a bit.

check the speaker connections or the speakers

well just because they replace the window shouldnt have nothing to do with it because the wires in your speakers are diffenrent and they run to your cd player seperatly try taking off the panel and make sure the wires that run to your cd player are hooked up to your speakers

after you play a cd while the cd is playing go into your audio settings and adjust theres settings foe each part on a stereo if u set the audio for AM//FM then play a cd the stereo changes to the cd settings

when you disconnect it from cables, it resets. But i believe that is not the problem. Check speaker cables. I think you have problem with internal power amps. They have thermal and current protection. look for short circuits on speakers or speaker cables.

Plug in center speaker -- seems right and left speakers are secondary carrying only the background / sound affects.

My issue was that I didn't have the blue "amp" wire hooked up and I had a factory amp.
