Yes it does, open the door and on the inside edge of the control panel is a couple screws. take them out and you can open the panel the fuse is located behind the panel in the micro up near the top.

GE Profile microwave # nm1851dm2bb lost all power while heating something. Could it be the internal fuse? Anything else?

If you're lucky it's the internal fuse. Otherwise, there's not much other stuff besides the fan that's easily replaced.

No power - blown fuse?

If it was run without the fan a thermal protect device was more than likely taken out. Check for that and replace the fan.

GE JVM1190SY/WY My microwave shows no signs of receiving any power. The light won't even come on. I have tried plugging it in to several different outlets, all of which tested good for a 120 volts. ...

Dead appliance, power on wall outlet.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

If your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.

Turned on the microwave and all power just went out. Checked the breaker panel, but none are tripped.

when you said the power went out ( did you mean to the micro or the complete hm . if only to micro it probably blew it internal fuse . they doo that . replace the fuse ( radio shack is a good place to get it .) but ck the door inter lock's as they may have caused the failure . ps buy more than one fuse / you may need more. **** ,,

Opening the door blows the fuse

more than likely you door safety switch has a short and every time you pull the door open the connections arc and trip the breaker or blows the fuse.

I have a GE Profile spacemaker 2.0 microwave and it just quit working on me. Sounded like a fuse popped?? I verified that the electrical outlet was working. Is there a fuse to replace inside the microwave?

Hello. You have isolated the problem.

Usually, when your microwave oven doesn't work it all, the internal fuse (thermal fuse) is blown. This fuse protects both you and the oven. When it blows, you need to have a qualified appliance repair technician replace it.

I have a GE Profile Microwave and the handle is broken....

I have the same issue. The Handle broke off my GE Microwave Oven (Model JVM1190SY 001). GE does not sell the handle seperately from what I can tell. I just ordered a new door. It's rediculously expensive. I tried to replace the handle with a nice drawer pull but couldn't find a size pull to match and I broke the plastic cover trying to get access to the screws for the handle, which is why I decided to buy the new door. Hopefully installation is not that difficult. This oven was manufactured in 2001, seems the handles have a 7 year life span.

GE DIDN'T bring good things to life

If the fuse blew as soon as you hit START to begin cooking, chances are you have a shorted high voltage capacitor. If it blew a few seconds after hitting START, then it's more likely to be a defective high voltager transformer. You may notice a buring smell. It's also possible that you have a defective thermostat / thermal cutout on the magnetron (especially if the oven has ever been run empty, arced or sparked, or overheated). In cases where the internal fuse blows, there's usually a cause, even if it's just a loose fuse holder.
