Best way to locate and repair a slow leak in a intex seahawk 500 inflatable

Get some bubble bath, mr. bubble, or just dish soap, thinned out with water, spray it all over the boat, you will get it cleaned up and find the leak at the same time. When you see th e stream of bubbles coming out, mark it, get it dried off and patch it up. I think they use a contac cement on the Hypolon boats, or is it neoprene? Do you have a patch kit? Any pieces of material for a patch? The hardware store has pvc rubber used for shower pans, that might stick on there, clean it good with laq thinner, and brush on some glue, both pieces, let dry, then slap them together. You will know if it will work. Or else look up the manufacturers recommendations. he boat supply might have patch kits in stock. Hope this helps.

Punctured air bedsmall puncture and have guest staying and need to repair it

Best thing I have found that works good is a patch for a bicycle tire. They have other small patches that are very similar, I just find the bicycle patches more convenient and usually cheaper. Hope this helps.

Can Intex mariner 4 carrie an engine Yamaha 8 HP with a modificated mount if the engine have 60 pounds?

no. my 28 lb 3.5 tohatsu strains the pvc material that the tubes are made out of pretty well. the weight and thrust of the motor pulls pretty hard on these tiny little rubber "feet" glued to the tubes. I usually dont even run full throttle as it looks like i will pull the motor mount feet right off the tube. I couldn't imagine a bigger, heavier motor than what i am running working out well in the long run.
i have the intex mariner 4, btw.

My son's intex has a puncture i have tried the

you must clean the area really well before the glue will stick. first, soap and water the area, then rinse. then, alcohol to wipe clean and dry the water from the area.
then, use cpvc pipe primer (used by plumbers) to clean the area and the inside of the patch.
then, vinyl cement (comes with intex boats) or "seal all" (bought at home depot). apply liberally on both surfaces and hold firmly into place. put a weight ontop if you can to hold the patch. let dry for a few hours. should be good to go.
i've patched my intex mariner about 8 times. patches all hold well.

I am looking at a cabin cruiser with the view to buying same. Have been told that it is a cut down version of a Challenger yacht (40) Is their such an animal? Don

It may be that the seller is referring to the Challenger 40 sailboat, which came with either a marconi or ketch sail rig. Compare the deck layout, photos at the bottom of page, and the specifications with the boat on:
http://www.sailboatlistings.com/cgi-bin/saildata/db.cgi?db=default&uid=default&view_records=1&ID=14024&mh=1
...then it is the same or similar, this may be the boat referred to by the seller. There are also go-fast power boats with the name Challenger, but not something that a re-make would produce a nice cabin cruiser from.
