Vizio blank screen vx32l
also i have a philips 42" plasma.
have 63 volts dc on main power board. 7 red light flashes
42PF7320A: 7 blinks is missing 8.6VDC from supply -- connector CN-1M46, pin 3 (out of 11 pins), goes from power supply to main/input board.
The main video board( called SSB by Philips) is not detecting the 8.6VDC from power supply. That is all that 7 blinks tells you. It could be the power supply was not staying on, or the 8,6 v line is shorted by something on the SSB, or the power supply 8.6v is defective.
When you say logic main, are you talking about the board under the SSB? Thats the panel logic board. The main/input(SSB) is not the logic Bd.
I don't kow if there's anything else wrong. But 7 blinks is bad 8.6v. You could ohm it to ground with/and without connector plugged-in and see if it's pwr sup or SSB. When you turn it on and check Vs, Va, Ve, whatever is used, etc. on pwr sup big wire outputs, it only tells you Ymain and Xmain and Pwr sup work there if the Volts are like it says on panel label. But, it's not going to work with 7 blinks.

My last comment not readable. It came from a table format. Just saying. Go by the error code. 7 blinks is bad 8.6v from pwr to ssb, conn. 1M46 pin 3. With TV unplugged, measure ohms from there(pwr sup end) to any aluminum chassis part(ground). then unplug the conn. and measure again(at pwr sup end). If noticably higher ohms unplugged, then likely bad SSB. But you can check it for voltage when powering on, and see if it gets close to 8.6VDC. This is probably the only problem. Not the ymain or something.
It is a 42pf7320a? you still get 7 blinks?

so what does that mean? if i unplug the y main or the logic main from the y main the light stays green. so how do i figuer out which one is bad? no fuses blown.
yes. i am. so how can i tell what exsactly it is. i just tested the vs vscan and got a max voltage of 387.1
wow thats all the codes? yikes. im a litte confuesd , if a board was shorted to ground wouldnt it blow the fuse on the board? so testing vs va and vscan .....to ground. will that tell me what i need?
if so what are the voltages on each that i shuould see? and or maintain.
i checked volts on ssb i have 8.5 goin to ssb.
