I will list here for you the best codes for each of our more popular models of remotes and the instructions for addressing the remote to the TV. Instructions for addressing the remote to the TV
1. Press and hold down the TV mode button until all the mode buttons light up red.
2. Enter the 3 digit code using the keypad.
3. Press the pound(#) button once.
4. Test the functionality of the TV.

Hello! This can be frustrating to watch!! To change the format on your DISH remote, all that you need to do is press the * button below the number 7 on the keypad. This will change the format for the TV so that you find the one that suits you best. The best that I have found is Zoom. I hope this help!

What make and model remote do you have? Is this remote for the Sylvania LC195SLX?

It looks like your TV doesn't have a digital tuner in it. Without that you won't be able to receive any broadcast television stations. The spec sheet is here: LC195SLX the tuner is listed as just ATSC/NTSC - not digital. You will need a cable or satellite box to receive stations.
