I need the software to download on a new computer. I dont have the cd anymore

If you purchased the printer new you probably got an installation CD. Load your CD and follow prompts. If not you may be able to find your model online and download software.

You can download the installation software from the following site

After arriving at the site, click on " Drivers and Support " located in the top righthand corner.
The " Drivers and Support " page will obtain the software needed for installation of your printer on your computer.

You can download the Lexmark X5495 driver from the Lexmark website for free. Go to this link Lexmark X5495 Drivers. Select your operating system by clicking on change OS.


Click on FILTER.


Click on the driver under Recommended Downloads.
Download, execute the file and follow the instructions on the software. NOTE: Use Vista driver in Windows 7.

You can download the driver from here (ALL Windows operating systems, 32-bit), or here (same, but for 64-bit systems).

It's highly recommended that you'll first uninstall the previous driver/software and unplug the camera from your computer.

The camera should be detected as a drive when the camera is connected via USB. Does it? You should be able to connect and copy your photos straight out like a USB drive.
