I have rca recorder rp5120-a. i have deleted everything but it still says full whenever i try to perform new recording. what should i do?

3. Press and hold

REC for three

seconds, FORMAT

will fl ash on the

display.

4. Press and hold

ERASE, WAIT will show on

the display, formatting is in

process.

completed, the remain time

of the selected memory will

show on the display.

You may also format the player

when connected to a PC (by rightclicking

on the player's drive name

or letter and select "Format" from

the menu). Make sure you select
FAT or FAT16 as the fi le system.

The manual says this about it;

Keys lock
To avoid accidental key activation, slide the key lock selector toward the lock icon to lock the keys.

Reverse the step to unlock them.

Plug in your recorder using the USB cable. Copy any of the files you see to your PC. Then reformat the drive. I don't have the exact details for doing this under windows but I fixed the problem this way.
