remove windows 7 and install xp, and try.

You should run windows upgrade advisor as I don't think your specs meet the requirements

I would recommend a fresh install of Windows. Back everything up with the 1GB installed, turn off PC, install the second stick of RAM and then go straight to installing Windows.

The HP Pavilion A610N was not designed for Win 7 Ultimate as it was only shipped with 512MB of RAM (memory) The Video card is integrated and only supports 64MB, you will have to purchase a AGP 8X video card to install.
Unless you have maxed your memory to 1GB then it could run Win 7 fairly well, If not i would go back to XP.

If you have a copy somewhere of C:\SwSetup folder from Vista, you have all pre-installed Vista software for your model.Should find there HP QuickPlay,etc. This software will also work under Win7.

Hello everyone please if you have a solution for me I have a HP Pavilion zd8000 and I installed the ultimate win7 everything is ok but graphics can not find appropriate drivers for ATI Radeon X600 M24, which is in it for pre Win7 Thanks for your help

To disable your firewall (assuming it's windows)

1. Click on Start > Control Panel
2. Click the security tab
3. Then you'll see a tab called windows firewall
4. Under it, it should say turn windows firewall on/off
