Why is my kenmore elite (top loader) oasis washer HE is displaying a code of HC

If the washer throws an UL error code with out any clothes in the washer then the issue must be concerned with the mechanical alignment inside the machine or a bad CCU.

The most common problem which can cause this is some sort of mechanical hinderance which does not allow the basket to move freely.

The suspension system which holds the basket in its place might be faulty and causing the unbalancing. In this model i think there are plastic ring at the bottom of the basket . Even if they are worn out or moved out of position it may cause the UL error code you are facing

Interesting. Lets look at the TECH SHEET. HC hot cold reversed. The inlet hoses are connected bass ackwards. Connect the cold to the COLD inlet and the hot to the HOT inlet and the on board processor will work much mo betta I garontee. As shown on page 5.
Easy fix. That will be $95 pwease. LOL

This HC error code will appear at the end of the wash cycle to indicate that the hot and cold water inlet hoses are switched. If the hoses are not switched it could indicate a problem with the Electronic Control Board. You can try to rest the washer by unplugging or flipping the breaker to the washer fo 2-5 min. Restore power to the washer and try running a short cycle. This will help clear any irregularities that the control board may have encountered.

ld means lond drain. clear the drain from the pump to end

oasis checks are complex if this is what it is, most likely you will have an error code, what is it? If its not an oasis, but a reg top loader, replace the motor/transmission isolation coupler.

its the power button its a common prob use a soldering iron and switch it with the load sinal button this happpens as the washer alallows moisture to get on the board as its not protected it will save u a ton of money and anyone can do it

You need to switch over your hot and cold water lines. 'HC' means that your hot and cold are hooked up to the wrong inlets.

Is it an f code followed by a 51?
