Could be worn Carbon brushes on the motor.Check belt has not fallen off though...some Neff you need to buy half motor to fit new brushes as it comes this way, perhaps a good test is to blow ut any dust next to the brushes this may allow the motor to Briefy run long enough to tell if brushes are worn ..Half motor cost to buy - 60 GBP......Happy new year...
how old is machine if machine is bout 5 years will need motor brushes they need t be changed every 5,6 yrs, if its quite new will be ure motor pcb if its not rampin up to full on spin
A couple of possibilities here.
The drum belt could have off, or the motor is not working, possibly due to worn brushes in the motor.
Either way, it means the washer has to come out of the cabinet for you to check these things.

sounds like motor brushes have worn out will need to remove motor to replace they are inexpensive.the clicking is the relay telling motor to rotate clockwise or anticlockwise.
check you can turn drum by hand if rotates freely then youre motor brushes will have worn out the motor needs to be removed to fit replacements but they are cheap to replace.
