I have the MSI RG54G3 wireless router. I had a password set up before but i accidentally reset the router and now it is not asking for the password. I have lost the manual and I do not have a clue how to...

all manuals for routers are free
all manuals are on line, all are. for sure under 10 years old or even older most.
yours is 2005 made a real relic now. 13 years old for you
and now 17 years old.
no 2 routers work the same why (settings or features all)

you did the long reset (at button) so the router is now back to day1, new in the box state
so only cure is the manual
now I will google it for you, 10 sec work
the manual is at MSI.com but is slow to navigate there,so I am lazy here is the echo of it, 182 pages deep., shocking yes but routing is complex. but basic setup is not hard.

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/360230/Msi-Rg-54g3.html

at IP address
192.168.1.254

see page 10 first, how to access the build in setting page of the router.
on PC uses chrome to access it or firefox v95 up
do not use IE1 to 11, as it has problems now.
page 10.
click OK to any security certificate error do to 17 year age.

Hi there. I want to configure my MSI RG54G3 for PPPOE. Could you please help?

You have to access the router page first. http://192.168.1.254. Try to use admin as username and admin as password. You can also try to put admin as username and leave blank for the password.
Once on the router's page, you will need to look for the setup wizard. For the connection type, make sure to select PPPoE and match the settings with your current ISP.
Good luck!

Lost internet after a powercut

Hi if the computer was turned on at the time and you was on the internet then i would suspect that the ethernet or wireless card driver has been corrupted and not the Router, try reinstalling the driver

I have connected MSI RG54G3 to a caple and it's not give me ip and internet access

To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router’s wireless settings configured and also needs the wireless cards in all the laptops and or computers to be configured with the router’s wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

To set-up and secure the wireless router from unauthorized access, follow these steps: -
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL IP address.
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA).
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router wirelessly.
To access the Internet you need to connect the DSL or cable modem to the WAN (Internet) port on the wireless router.

Help me please

Two separate solutions are needed.

First, you will need to ask your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to assign a "fixed IP address" to your Internet connection. Your ISP typically assigns addresses to home users out of a large "pool" of addresses that are shared among several customers. Because of this, your home network address is not always the same. Most ISP's charge an extra fee to always keep your address the same.

The second task is to configure the firewall function in your router so it will pass connections through from the WAN to the device inside your network. The procedure to do this should be included in the instruction manual for your router.

MSI rg54g3 ieee802.11g vista driver

Generally you do not install a router onto a PC you connect to a router with a wire using a network adapter or wirelessly with a wireless adapter. Can you any of the following you have identify you make and model of PC, make and model of add-on adapter card? Then I may be able to assist you in determining if a driver exists for the device attached to your computer intended to communicate with the identified router.

Thanks
