I bought a secureLinc Wireless Home Security System. I'm having trouble setting up the "Home" feature. Is their a phone number I can call for support?

Line failure is related to power not phone line. What is the exact model number?

There are two types of home alarm systems, the wireless home alarm system and the hard wired home alarm system. Wireless home alarm systems are the most common these days with many of them having a simple do it yourself installation. Hard wired home alarm systems are still around and still used, however. I have searched around for you and found an excellent site with a variety of manufacturers. You may still want to shop around; however I think that this site has a lot of selection. The price ranges from $99.50-$365 depending on which you choose to purchase.

there is an auto arm feature programmed in to the system. Check your setting and the system clock.

The first thing to try would be to disconnect the mains supply and remove the internal battery for a minimum of 5 minutes and then reconnect it.

If this doesn't reset the system then remove the mains supply and battery again for another 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes reconnect the battery.

Then with the help of a friend try holding the # & * keys while they turn the mains supply back on.

These are generic resets for most house alarms but I'll keep looking if there's a specific one for your system so if neither of these work just let me know.

Hi, I have just had the same problem, now fixed. I found 1 of the motion sensors had a red light on continually.. changed the battery in that, also the door sensor had gone at the same time. What I 'm saying is, it's more than 1 battery that has gone in your system.

Hi, No, you just change your number in the user settings page.

Press next on the front twice to 'user settings' put your code in.. then you are on the phone number setting as the menu begins, press OK and change it with the numeric pad. enjoy

Is the "chime" feature enable for that device?

The modems wireless feature is always on. For some reason entering the security code wasn't working so I turned off the security feature and it worked fine. After the wii downloaded updates I turned on the security to the most secure settings and everything continued to work. I guess maybe the wii update fixed the issue or I just needed to change to the most secure setting.
