No diaplay intel GVSR 845 POST Card error code E9

The Intel D845GVSR Motherboard manual reports the Error code as - "Entering Bios Setup"

If you didn't have display, you wouldn't see the error, this means the monitor has picked up a generic driver and is working. Fo some reason the system is trying to enter the BIOS.

Read the Manual on how to clear CMOS, or after touching metal you can carefully remove the battery from the motherboard for 5 mins. If after you clear CMOS and the board still reports this error, go to the Intel website and download the latest BIOS update,( P20 ).

Make sure you read and follow the instructions on flashing a BIOS update.

This board is very outdated, and even posted on the intel website that intel has -

Acpi bios

Hi suleman_indi, I'm guessing you have a question about the D845GVSR motherboard. If your question refers to the bios setting for ACPI. Disable it until windows has been updated to SP2. Enter your bios & enable the ACPI. Should be fine once windows has been updated. Click on this link to load Intel's site for the Intel D845GVSR motherboard.
