My acer aspire 1690 suddenly shuts down randomly. is not an overheating problem I'm sure. I have also been checked by a technician but can not find the solution

then download for acer- travelmate 4100 or travelmate 4020 .

it migh have a problem with the cooler.take the notebook to a service an change your cool then it will be ok

Sounds like you have a faulty power supply. The internal parts of your pc produce alot of heat, and if a part is heating up, then it will cause your pc to shut off.

With you saying that unplugging it , and then waiting , and then it comes back on, it sounds like once some part has cooled off, then the pc works.

My bet would be your power supply. Do make sure however, that all your parts are still tight in their sockets.. ie processor, memory , etc. I saw a pc that shut off at random times because the heat sink didn't make good contact with the processor once in college. So you want to check those things.
