I have a frigidaire gallery frontload washer model GLTF1040AS0 for about 7 years. Work fine until today. On the spin cycle with a NORMAL load the machine start to make big noise. After a closer inspection the drum inside seem to miss some shock absorbtion. the drum keep banging up and down/front side to side. If i spin it empty the drum spin relatively smoothly. The machine work normaly for the washing part. the drum turn like before . Both upper sping seem ok. Im wandering if the two shock bellow might be the probleme or if the problem is in the drum. Both shock look ok. no crack . grease on 1 but not in big quantity. I can turn the drum by hand freely. Some minor squeek but nothing i dident hear before. Thx for your advice :)
Hi,
When my washer did that, I found that the shocks that hold the tub were bad...
Check out this tip I wrote about that...

Hey friend, thank you for your post!
I see that your Frigidaire washer, FWT449GFS2 is not entering the final high spin cycle. It is possible that you could have a defective motor or timer. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend you having a professional come out to the home for the repair of your washer. -Matt
