Has anyone upgraded to the 2.5 software? I have windows 7 and can't seem to make my singer ce200 work with this computer.

I need the 2.5 upgrade software for my futura ce200 because i have windows 7 can i download it off the net??

    From what was written on the Singer site (the one mentioned above) the 2.5 upgrade has to be purchased as a CD (I found it at singertexas.com and a few other places), but I haven't purchased it yet. After you install the CD you can download patches. The Singer site has instructions on how to install the 2.5 upgrade. Have to admit this is VERY complicated...and I'm okay around software and computers.

My embroidery (Singer Quantum XL6000) requires the Windows XP and lower on a computer to acquire additional patterns, will it work with Windows 7?
Mine works with Vista. :)
Just install the XP patch (futura-support.com/downloads/patch.htm) and tell Windows 7 to run the software in XP mode.

It depends on your software version. The list of supported formats could be found in the manual, on Futura support site or checked right through the sofware menu (File->Open, File->Save as)

If you are using Futura 2.0.0.x software there is no update yet, but Windows 7 support has been already included into update for Futura 2.5.0.x. You may ask a closest Singer supplier about it.

Singer CE0100 Futura connection error....
Hi I had the same problem sent question to Singer and this was their reply

"Do you have Vista 32-bit or Vista 64-bits? Unfortunately the CE-100/200 machine will not be compatible with either Vista 64-bit systems or the newest Windows 7 computers. The CE-100/200 will only be compatible with Windows 98 through Vista 32-bit operating systems.

This appears to be a hardware issue and not something that we will be able to create a patch to correct. Drivers necessary for 64-bit operating systems are not compatible with the CE-100/200 machines." so I guess we are SOL

Singer Futura CE200 Software
If you use the standard FUTURA software. you will have to buy an add-on for the Software.

Singer offers an add-on called Hyperfont which allows to digitize any true type font on the computer.

The software is available in stores and online, but be sure to get the right version for your software. There are versions for the Futura CE150, CE 250 etc, and there are other versions for the CE100 and CE200, so be careful.

You should also keep in mind that although you can digitize any true type font with this software, not every font is suitable for embroidering and will stitch out nicely.
