Have you checked monitor settings Carl? Some are set to sleep after a certain period of time. Mine was set to sleep after 1 hour (unknown to me) until I reset it. =)
There is an installation problem, and you need a technician. When the receiver reboots, it sends a boost of power to the LNBF until it gets a signal in return, or gets a response of no signal. If you have damaged lines, a damaged receiver, damaged LNBF, or low signal reception on your antenna, a rebooted receiver will, for a very short time, boost the signal enough to get reception. Then, the receiver will drop the power back to the correct levels, thereby eliminating the short term reception boost. A technician can repair your installation to improve the reception, as long as there is Line Of Sight to the correct satellites.
Green Tube maybe trying to short out or you can try adjusting screen drive to the Green Tube by turning control down a notch, Sony had a bad run on these with alot of Bad Tubes.
These lines are called retrace lines they are caused when the blanking pulse is insufficient to turn off the current to the CRTs (guns) during the retrace period (the time when the CRTs internal electron gun is returning to the start position after "painting" the picture on the screen). Since this is a signal problem, it will require troubleshooting to figure out why This is occurring. If you do not have a background in electronics and a working knowledge of TVs I would suggest that you have a qualified TV technician examine and repair this TV for you.
First try another signal input like a DVD player or other source, is the signal displayed ok? Then you have lost the signal on one input from whatever the device is.
This is probably an over heating CPU(processor). Make sure the fan over the processor is working. If it is, check to see if the heat sink is fastened properly to the motherboard - if you can push on any of the corners and it moves in than there's an issue.
Also look for a thick layer of dust that might be blocking the air flow.
Loss Of Signal - LOS
Short for Loss Of Signal, LOS is generally an indicator on a networking device to ... has no connection on the other end, network is improperly configured
Good Luck, This should get your signal back again for ya.
You may need to upgrade software, but if you have a sim card pull your sim card and battery leave them out for a couple minutes, put phone back together and see if it resolves your issue, could be a glitch in the network.
