The platter should be level. If it is not then it could either be warped, by oil, heat affecting in the past. Or just faulty. Even if a warped turntable plays a record OK, it could damage it, as it is so easy for a record to be damaged, it could cause a scratch on the record. It should be checked out.

The last comment is true, however there is a simple but lengthy procedure that usually works to restore warped records. Records are often warped because they have been incorrectly stored, for example piled one on top of the other for long periods. Part of my own collection suffered like this after a box of them in the loft broke and they spilled out on top of each other without my knowledge. To fix them they should be packed verticaly with pressure at both ends so that the individual albums or singles cannot lean to one side. The amount of time this method takes will vary with both the temperature and the degree of warping. Minor warping and stored at room temperature should take about six months.

The only thing you can do is clean the record with cleaning fluid. You will find special cleaning fluids for records on Amazon. If the record is warped you can try a weight pressing down on the record. But sadly if a record is warped bad there's no real cure.

Please remove the magazine and check if there is warping within the magazine which can cause misalignment. In such a case you will need to replace the magazine . Also check all the CD's within for any damage, sometimes some spurious types can warp with heat.If so it will not load and play. Test in another cd player to confirm.Also clean the optical head within the player if this fails to read or else the optical head can be also weak.

this would probably be caused by a warped brake disk.
it could possibly be caused by play in the ball joints, or play in the steering rack, but this would normally give shaking under power as well, and give uneven wear patterns on the front tyres.

you may need to get the brakes checked by a professional as a warp in the disk may be too small to see by eye, and the disks should be measured using a dial guage to ensure that they are still true

Overheating is the cause for the warp. Most cases a rotor gets warped when it's constantly gets overheated from driving habits. Like constantly stopping at the last minute, driving downhill in slow traffic, and etc. Or, possibility it could be just cheap low grade rotors. Plus, the wrong type of brake shoe can play a part by causing high heat friction.

The best advice is to take the car to have it inspected by a shop before you buy it. There maybe some unforeseen problems ahead. Better safe than sorry.

Possible front rotor are warp or rear drum are warp,
Also check front suspension for play in tie rod end or ball joint
