Washer worked quiet and efficiently when we first got it but now vibrates and "walks" when in spin cycles. Have tried to level it, but does not help. At high spin end of cycle, the drum sounds like it is hitting the side of the washer.

On the front there are feet of the machine one or both are adjustable with a dislock nut you can unscrew and machine leveling care afterwards to tighten the lock nuts together well, and if you've just bought it, you are sure that the transport screws in the machine stuck ??
Make sure the legs on all four corners are down tight and even level the machine with this 4 pads. If the machine is level it will vibrate less, and then not all machines are completely quiet when working, especially on spin cycle..
If it brand new I would call back the service man or store I bought it from..From what your saying..it either has a powerful motor or the drum is out of balance with out any cloths in it....Put it in spin mode with nothing in it...If you get vibrations its one of two things...Either the whole washer isn't leveled correctly or its a unbalanced washer drum...Call them back and tell them either they come out to check it or you want it replaced....Be firm...It'd your money
dear sir/mam please check the floor level of your washer by using the spirit level,if there is difference please adjust the level by screwing the legs of the washer, then vibration will be stopped.
I have the same Duet that vibrates heavily during spin cycle. Leveled the unit with no success (our unit is mounted on the high base). Long story short, I went to Lowes and purchased a package of 4"X5" self stick foam rubber pads called Grippers by Wasman Consumer Group and paid a low price of $3.50. Since the washer walked forward, I cut one of the two Pads in the package in half, removed the sticky side paper protector and centered a half, sticky side to washer pad, to each front washer pad. The problem was solved.
I made sure the round floor pads of the washer were tight and the unit was level before attaching the Grippers. Hope this helps.
I bought the frigidaire affinity washer. It was quiet until it began the spin cycle, then it sounded like a jet taking off and began to bounce. Come to find out we set it up improperly. You must remove all shipping bolts on the back of the machine and make sure it is level. Ta Da!! it now runs perfectly quiet with little vibration.
due to weight and normal motion during wash/spin a very sturdy floor is necessary under front loads also some floors are a little slick and sliding may occur ck for weak floor and maybe some kind ok rough cushion under feet to reduce sliding also if on pedistals even more vibration may occur be sure all screws in pedistal are secure usually 4 from top onto bottom of washer also adj legs to lower unit as close to floor as possible and tighten lock nuts
