There is a reset button in the back of your router, which will reset it to all default settings. Try this to get the router to work.

Also is it hard wired into another computer? Check it out that way. make sure the router is working.

good luck

2. Analogue video senders used to send audio and video to other TVs in the home.
3. Microwave ovens emit interference in the 2.4GHz band.
4. Wireless speakers and console controllers can cause interference with the wireless router.
5. Bluetooth devices, newer Bluetooth devices can jump to different frequencies if there is a connection problem.
6. Power cables located near the wireless router can cause dropouts and speed reduction.
7. Fish tanks and mirrors will cause massive Wi-Fi shadow on the other side of the tank from the wireless router.
8. Depending upon the location of large mirrors will reflect wireless signal away your computer.

Does not wierless work in xp computer and 2 ipad.

Are you using a laptop? If not, the computer that you are using should capable of connecting via wireless connection. And the Modem /router should be transmitting wireless signal. If you can successfully connect via wifi, then all of your wireless end devices should be connected via wi fi a as well. check your local network for issue isolation.

I could not connect wi-fi connection in my laptop. i tied to format it.... but i could not do that...... please help me to connect my wi-fi connection

(1)Make sure that your AP router WiFi device is configured properly and the LEDs showing the signals with light are on.

(2)Try to bring other laptops in the range it will tell you if the signals are being emitted and are being caught by other laptops.

(3)If all of the above are true than this might be your problem that you have to turn the Wifi button on on your laptop. If you take a look at your keyboard you will find that there are some extra buttons on top you have to figure out the one that turns on the Wifi receiver.

Good Luck!

Wireless connection

by default, dell systems' switch for wireless can be done by pressing Fn and tap F2. The wifi light should lit up. Your modem is integrated to the motherboard. If you were able to lit up the wifi light, this should be able to detect wireless signals for you to connect to.
