I have a Dometic DM2652 refrigerator and the check light comes on when I hook up to electric & cut off the gas.

The DM2652 comes with an optional cooling fan to help with cooling the amonia. The fan cycles on and off as required as it has a tempeature sensor (thermistor). We turn ours off at night by removing the inline fuse (glass tube fuse 3 amp) located in your outside acces panel. The fuse is located in a black fuse holder with a re wire connecting both sides.

I have a parts manual and it says on page 5 of the PDF location 43 in photo of the manual that 43 2007290006 A B Lamp, 10W, 12VDC. You need to scroll to the next page and line 43 is part number 2007290006 is the Lamp, 10 watt and 12 Volts DC Here is a link to the parts Manual=> Refrigerator_Parts_List.pdf Now that does not tell much about the socket but you may see that it is common.
