The DM2652 comes with an optional cooling fan to help with cooling the amonia. The fan cycles on and off as required as it has a tempeature sensor (thermistor). We turn ours off at night by removing the inline fuse (glass tube fuse 3 amp) located in your outside acces panel. The fuse is located in a black fuse holder with a re wire connecting both sides.

I have a parts manual and it says on page 5 of the PDF location 43 in photo of the manual that 43 2007290006 A B Lamp, 10W, 12VDC. You need to scroll to the next page and line 43 is part number 2007290006 is the Lamp, 10 watt and 12 Volts DC Here is a link to the parts Manual=> Refrigerator_Parts_List.pdf Now that does not tell much about the socket but you may see that it is common. Or ask one of the major sites like GasRefrigeration.net Hope that is helpful, Thanks, Sea Breeze11_21_2011_7_26_21_am.jpg

My dometic refrigerator DM2652 is cooling in gas mode but will not switch to AC. The unit is getting power but the "auto" light will not come on.

That fridge has 2 elements. A 12v and mains 240v/120v. Sounds like the mains element or the fuse has blown. The fuse box is in behind the fridge at the bottom. Follow the power cord to the box. There should be 3 fuses. Check them all. Using a multimeter, check the readings of both elements. Google " Dometic Service manual DM2652 pdf" and page 11 should help you.

My dm2652 turns on but doesn't cool

Check the thermostat setting and check you have power from it to the heater if it is an absorption fridge or compressor if not.
